The kitchen has always been my favorite place. As a child, I watched my grandma closely and even made my own pretend food out of clay. I wonder what my grandma would think now that I make my living playing with food?

Starting in my twenties as a pantry chef in Chicago, and later working as a personal chef, I eventually studied Food Styling at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. Although my experience and education were the steps toward my work with food styling, I believe it is my consistently positive attitude, very strong problem solving skills and precision time management that set me apart in my field.
